Cesare graduated cum laude in 1997 from the University of Genoa with a dissertation on Economic Criminal Law, supervised by Prof. Vinciguerra. With over 20 years of professional experience, Cesare works mainly in the field of Marine Criminal Law, enjoying the trust of the world’s major shipping companies, their P&I insurers, agents, and shipbrokers as well as leading forwarders, terminal operators, shipyards, and freight companies.
In handling the latter assignments, he works daily alongside leading maritime and transport law firms, including foreign ones; thanks to his professional experience working at English and Northern European P&I clubs, Cesare can address their specific needs providing tailored support to the Claim and Loss Prevention managers.
Professional assistance is rendered at all Italian courts and tribunals, especially those holding territorial jurisdiction in cases relating to the shipping industry: Genoa, Trieste, Venice, Ravenna, Ancona, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Naples, Salerno, Bari, Brindisi, Messina, Palermo, Ragusa, Trapani, and Cagliari.
Cesare has achieved a high level of competence in the field of international judicial cooperation in dealing with proceedings involving the relevant institutions (from rogatory letters to European arrest warrants, European investigation orders and, in general, the transfer of criminal proceedings to and from abroad).
He also deals with non-marine criminal matters such as bankruptcy, tax and culpable offences related to health and safety in the workplace and public safety.
He collaborates with the editorial staff of the specialist magazine ‘Il Diritto Marittimo’ and is a member of the Judicial Organs of FIV, the Italian Sailing Federation.

Silvana graduated in Law in 2011 from the University of Genoa with a thesis on the Philosophy of Punishment entitled: “Rights in Prison: The Italian Situation“. Historical and socio-legal profiles’, supervised by Prof. Realino Marra.
She passed the bar exam in 2014.
Silvana mainly handles marine, environmental, bankruptcy and tax related crimes. She is fluent in English and French.

Davide graduated with honours in Law in 2019 from the University of Naples Federico II, with a dissertation in Criminal Law entitled ‘Omissions and Faults in the Criminal Law of Navigation’, supervised by Professor Vincenzo Maiello.
He has collaborated with the online legal journal ‘Ius in Itinere’, publishing contributions about shipping criminal law.
A fluent English speaker, Davide focuses mainly on maritime and environmental crimes.
He passed the bar exam in November 2022.
